Meet The Founder
Driven by a love for simplicity, clean lines, and effortless comfort, Rachana Darshan Dholekar creates clothing that reflects quiet confidence and individuality. A fashion graduate, her design perspective is deeply influenced by India’s rich textile heritage, shaped through her study of the History of Indian Textiles and training in Dyeing and Printing techniques.
After working with fashion houses, freelancing, and designing for private clients-including a Femina Miss India finalist-she felt a clear calling to build something of her own.
That vision took shape as AZITIZ, a homegrown label rooted in fabric-first design and thoughtful silhouettes. As the brand evolved, so did its identity.
Today, AZITIZ is RIKAI-a refined expression of the same ethos. While the name has changed, the philosophy remains: timeless design, breathable natural fabrics, and simplicity that makes a lasting statement.
About Azitiz
Simple silhouettes, clean lines-pieces designed to move seamlessly from workdays to slow afternoons with friends, and everywhere in between. In our early days, the brand explored a range of fabrics, from cotton and linen to jute, handloom, Ikkat, Maheshwari, and Bhagalpuri. Each taught us something about craft, comfort, and wearability.
Over time, our focus became clearer. We chose to transition to linen—a fabric that aligns deeply with our values. Sustainable, durable, hypoallergenic, and effortlessly modern, linen offered the versatility and longevity we were looking for.
For years, the brand grew offline, nurtured through personal connections and word of mouth. Towards the end of 2024, we took our first step into the digital space with the launch of www.azitiz.in, now www.rikai.in, embracing the excitement-and nervousness-of e-commerce. What followed was an overwhelming sense of encouragement, love, and support that reaffirmed our journey.
As the brand evolved, so did its identity. AZITIZ is now RIKAI-a refined expression of the same design philosophy. While the name has changed, our approach remains unchanged: thoughtfully crafted linen pieces, defined by simplicity, clean lines, and designs made for every occasion.
